Have you ever wondered what you could photograph legally while you were out on your photowalk? Well, I found this great article that lists in detail some of the rights you have as photographers. So, next time you are out and someone tries to kick you out for photography, you will be better prepared and knowledgeable.

    Very good stuff for everyone to know. I had a problem once in Tokyo a few years ago. I was trying to take some pics of the mason building beside Tokyo tower when a guard forced me to stop.

    I havent experienced that many problems in recent years. Although, I use to encounter problems when I was on my skateboard with a video camera.

    Paul,
    These are laws pertaining to the U.S. However, I have been looking for specific laws in Japan regarding photography and everything seems to be similar. I would hate to assume and be wrong though. I will take a closer look and let you know what I find.
