Photo Day: A Night at Cape Maeda | Okinawa, Japan

As this past weekend came to an end I decided to try my hand at some night photography. One main hurdle of taking pictures at night is ensuring that you have a sturdy tri-pod for those really long exposures.
Some of the images required that I use my digital camera’s "bulb " setting. This allowed me to produce images with exposures longer than 30 seconds.

Below is an example of one of the shots I took at Cape Maeda. This shot was a result of a 50 second exposure.

These shots are amazing, we never went there at night, great snorkeling place…
