Goodbye Okinawa
4 Jun
It has been a wonderful experience spending the last three years of my life in Okinawa, Japan. Okinawa will always have a place in my heart for sure.
It was the place I got married to my beautiful wife, discovered my passion for photography, started this website, and met and created some great friendships.
A quick look through my website and you will see that the majority of the content has to do with Okinawa. For this reason, it is quite obvious that my wife and I really enjoyed the island, culture and the especially the people.
What else can I say about Okinawa except, you really have to experience it first hand to understand how much it saddens us to leave. I hope we can have the great fortune to visit or someday live there again.
Goodbye Okinawa!

It is sad to see you leave Japan. From reading you past posts I can tell you really love living here. I hope you can return again some day.
Jay,
It is hard to leave a place that has so much to do with your life. It was like that when we left Germany. You probably don’t remember that though.
I just wanted to say Happy Birthday! I don’t think leaving today is the best gift you could get but you are heading to a different location with new things to see and do. Get back to me and let me know what your travel plans are. Your Mother didn’t seem to know much!
Hope it doesn’t take too much time in Tokyo to get Britts VISA. Still dont understand why she would need one traveling with you. She should be on your travel orders?
Anyway, take care. have fun and see you two in a week.
Love ya,
DAD
I know the feeling… its a sadness that you know that part of your life is over, like graduation to something new… Its crazy how life pulls you in a different direction, and it will change drastically for both of us in a few months. anyways what I am really saying is I love ya like a brother from another mother
Let me know when you find out what your having!
We should go back and visit some day. I’m sure I’ll go back one day.
