The Cambridge American Cemetery is maintained by the American Battle Monuments Commission and is the only American World War II cemetery located in Britain. It is home to three thousand eight hundred and nine headstones that extend in a fan shaped arrangement outwards from the flag pole. The cemetery is open to the public and can be visited every day of the year from 9am – 5pm except December 25th and January 1st. For some more really great information check out this website.

As far as photography goes, 2009 was a year in which I developed the skills I learned in 2008. We were fortunate enough to travel to fun and exciting locations around the world which resulted in several truly fascinating photographic opportunities.

My biggest photography resolution for 2010 is to try new things and push my creative limits to the max. In addition, I want to really develop new techniques in 2010 and grow as a photographer and learn.

Brill Windmill is located in the historic Buckinghamshire village of Brill. Although the windmill is not operational, there are continued restoration projects in the future.

Thought to be one of the oldest windmills is Britain, Brill Windmill was erected sometime in the 1680′s. It is considered to be one of the best preserved post-mills still standing from the 17th century.

The windmill itself is open to the public every Sunday during the summer. However, you can still go and take pictures of the windmill and surrounding countryside during the week. I believe I went and visited during the middle of the week sometime and it was just perfect. I didnt have to pay admission but I have seen some websites stating an admission fee of £2.00.
