Another day living on Okinawa is another day full of opportunities to take some wonderful photo’s. Here are some of my latest shots when I ventured out to Araha beach.

Arin Krin also known as “The Garlic House” is a very popular restaurant in Okinawa, Japan serving a variety of dishes infused with garlic.

One of the most popular places on Okinawa where you can visit a haunted site is the haunted Royal hotel located in Nakagusuku village.

Nice use of contrast, or the focusing of the front image against the background. I noticed a year ago that many of the Best Photos of the year had smoke or blurred images in the background. Great photos. Enjoyed the informations and photos, every informatives. I am married to an Okinawan and know a lot about the island when i was stationed here 1994-2000. Enjoy yourself during your stay and your memories will last a lifetime. As you know by your parents greatful services to the military, life can only get better when you serve your country. The third photo down is such a contrast between nature and urban development. The lone tree surrounded by concrete is very striking.

Sadly, I have not been to Okinawa yet. Although, it is on my travel list. Where in Okinawa did you take the tree photo?

The tree picture was taken in Chatan, Okinawa area. It is right across the street from a shopping mall. Behind the stairs is Araha Beach.
