About Me
I am Jason Kimball- welcome to JasonKimball.org. I currently live in the United Kingdom and plan on spending the next three or four years here. Before moving to England I spent three years on the beautiful island of Okinawa, Japan. Most of the content on this website was geared around information pertaining to Okinawa and Japan. I will now begin updating the site with information about our travels and experiences in Europe.
When I am not behind the camera you can find me spending time with my wife and son. I am happily married to an amazing and absolutely stunning women that completely owns my heart.
My job as of right now is working in the Communications Computer Systems Operator or 3C0X1 career field (working on computers). We focus on the computer networking aspect in the Air Force.
Why do I have a site?
I decided to create JasonKimball.org because I wanted to have a place for family members and friends to check out what is happening in my life. Also, I was just bored and thought this was a good way to record some of my crazy ideas.
Behind the man…
First thing first, my name is Jason Kimball and before making my way out to the land of the rising sun, I spent about ten years in a little town in Northern New York. For those of you familiar with the “North Country”, you may have heard of the Watertown/Dexter area.
I have two older siblings, Brian and Jennifer. However, I am the youngest and probably the best looking one out of the three. Ha Ha. Most importantly, I contribute who I am today to my kick-ass parents who have been married now for thirty years.
WARNING! meaningless words follow- I consider myself to be very easy going and willing to dish out jokes and laughter on a moments notice. I try to take advantage of those golden opportunities whenever I can.
Hobbies
I really enjoy photography, cars, pop culture, tech gadgets and gizmo’s, skateboarding (although I haven’t skated in years), and surprisingly enough, a crude joke every now and then.
Being a brat…
I come from a very proud military family. So, as you can imagine I moved around a lot as a child because my old man was a gung ho G.I. Joe. Pops actually just retired from the United States Army after twenty-six years of truly dedicated service. Being an “Army brat” and having a military parent taught me plenty about being flexible in my life. Although it got tough at times, those aspects contributed to the values and morals for which I live my life today.
Anything else?
I plan on adding some great information in my blog section in the near future regarding Okinawa and other travel destinations. So, be sure to check them out.
